PROJECT: Beacon Herald Newsletter for Donors

DESCRIPTION: Cover for patient story on Low Kwai Lan, who had a renal bone disease that is one of the most common and devastating side effects of kidney failure. The cover photo expresses the courage, strength and hope that kept her hanging on until the day she passed away at the age of 40 on March 8, 2000. This particular issue along with three other newsletters won the NKF Singapore a Wilmer Shields Award for Excellence in Communications in 2001 for Newsletter Design.
